Margaret Logas

Margaret is an Architect with a passion for historic homes and buildings. While attending the University of Florida's Graduate School of Architecture, she earned a graduate certificate in Historic Preservation, learning how to 3D scan buildings to Point Cloud files and create Revit models. What she loves about old buildings is the connection with history and lessons learned they present either through their design or how their materials withstood the test of time.

She currently serves as Director of Design on the Advisory Board for Main Street Apopka, an organization devoted to revitalizing downtown Apopka by making it walkable again and to preserving the cultural history of Apopka. She is also a member of the Winter Park Historic Advocacy Comittee.

Margaret is a member of the AIA Orlando Board, serving as a Director at Large for Initiatives. Her main goal was to give a voice to Central Florida's historic buildings by starting a Historic Resources Committee.

Before fulfilling her lifelong dream of becoming an Architect, she was a public and academic librarian, a Colonial Tavern tour guide, and a seamstress.
